My friend Kate has just moved into a new house. I visited her yesterday and I must say the interior looks impressive, and her new bathroom is really a masterpiece. This is what it looks like. It"s a bit minimalistic in design. There"s a lot of simple furniture like benches and tall cabinets. At fists I thought it was a sauna! The bathroom is quite spacious and there"s a window on the right. The sun comes in early in the morning and it looks really marvellous. The little tiles are blue and white. There are some wooden shelves with birch veneer, a large faucet, some bamboo elements, wicker baskets and sculptures. There are even some plants in the bathroom. But the most important thing is the bath. It"s in the other corner, and when I first saw it I immediately knew I want to have such a bath in my bathroom. It"s really huge and I would love to lie in it in the evening, taking a hot bath. Of course, Kate paid a lot of money for her new bathroom. But I know that she earns a lot of money, too. This year, I have other expenditures so I don"t think I"ll be able to design a new bathroom and buy all necessary materials to redecorate it. But maybe next year the situation will be better and I will finally get rid of the old dull tiles and the tiny washbasin.
