I booked my theory tests three weeks ago. I"m supposed to take them tomorrow and my parents really hope I pass them. The problem is, I don"t really know if I want to do this at this point. A friend of mine has just invited me to a party at her home in London. It"s a long way and I would have to set off tomorrow in the morning. My theory tests start at noon, so I"ll have to choose between the tests and the party. I personally prefer the party because my friend has also invited a guy I really like. This is the only opportunity to talk to him and get to know him! It might turn out we"re not really interested in each other, I know, but how will I ever know if I don"t appear at the party? My parents are quite strict, and the truth is they actually paid for my driving course. They want me to get my driving licence by September so that I will be able to pick them up from work. I think I"ll talk to them today. I"ll tell them that this is a very exceptional situation and some really important people will be there at the party. I"ll also promise to re-book my theory tests as soon as possible. Maybe they"ll say yes if I explain that I really want to pass them. My friend has just texted me. She says my train leaves at 8 a.m. tomorrow so I have to hurry and make my final decision. Well, I"m going to talk to my parents now. Keep your fingers crossed!
